  What sets this filter apart from other filters is its 5-stage aquarium water purification! The filter kit includes: 3 synthetic sponges, a large-pore sponge, activated carbon, bioballs, and ceramics. The sponges completely remove various mechanical contaminants from the water, including plant or food debris, dirt, and waste from your aquarium fish. Thanks to the biologically active beneficial bacteria inhabiting the ceramics, the water is also biologically filtered, removing harmful ammonia and ammonium compounds. Activated carbon purifies the water from chemical contaminants.

  Filter Maintenance:

  As the filter media becomes dirty (depending on the size of the aquarium and the number, size, and species of fish), it is necessary to clean it. It is recommended to combine this procedure with other aquarium maintenance.

  Note:

  Do not use soap or any other detergents when cleaning the Jebo AP260FC filter and media. The filter's design does not allow for dry operation. It is recommended to turn off the filter during aquarium maintenance. The filter can operate continuously for extended periods, though some heating of the filter housing is acceptable.
